At Lydia Beker Art, every artwork is carefully packaged and prepared to help ensure safe delivery.
PROCESSING TIMES
Processing times may vary depending on the type of artwork purchased. Original artworks, prints, and commissions may require different preparation, packaging, drying, framing, or dispatch timeframes. Estimated processing times will be provided where possible, however delays may occasionally occur due to workload, exhibitions, custom orders, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
SHIPPING METHODS
Orders may be shipped using trusted postal or courier services selected according to the size, value, and destination of the artwork. Tracking may be provided where available. Shipping providers may vary between domestic and international orders.
PACKAGING
Artwork is packaged with care using protective materials appropriate for the artwork type and shipping requirements. Original oil paintings are wrapped using conservation-appropriate materials to protect paint surfaces during transit. Packaging methods may include:
· Protective wrapping
· Rigid mailers
· Reinforced boxes
· Padding materials
· Corner protection
· Tube packaging for rolled works
DELIVERY ESTIMATES
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Shipping delays may occur due to:
· Postal carrier delays
· Customs processing
· Weather events
· Public holidays
· Remote delivery locations
· International shipping conditions
Lydia Beker Art is not responsible for delays outside reasonable control.
FREE SHIPPING
Free shipping is included on all orders, both domestic and international. For large original works, international orders are carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube, ready to be re-stretched by your local framer on arrival.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International customers may be responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees/charges, or similar charges imposed by the destination country. Lydia Beker Art is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes.
SHIPPING ADDRESSES
Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping details are accurate at the time of purchase. Additional shipping fees may apply if parcels are returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information.
DAMAGED OR LOST ITEMS
Lydia Beker Art takes reasonable care to ensure artworks arrive safely and will work with customers to resolve verified shipping damage or loss where appropriate. If your order arrives damaged or appears lost in transit, please refer to the Returns & Refund Policy page and contact Lydia Beker Art as soon as possible.
